Nine years ago, Tabatha Kerr’s daughter, Lilliana, was crushed to death by a table in her school’s gymnasium.

Tabatha then learned the school had ignored calls to replace those faulty tables for years — and instead of taking accountability, they fought her. So she’s spent nine years fighting back, building Lilliana’s Law: legislation that would force schools to routinely inspect their equipment and remove what’s unsafe before another child dies.
