More Than Just Luck podcast hosts WXYZ’s Megan Lee
WXYZ Ch. 7 reporter Megan Lee was a special guest at the “More Than Just Luck” podcast studios on Thursday afternoon.
Lee, born and raised in Royal Oak and a Central Michigan University graduate, was in the studio to interview Tabatha Kerr.
Kerr’s 3-year-old daughter, Lilliana, died on Jan. 20, 2017 when an unanchored, 350-pound folding cafeteria table fell on her inside a Head Start gym program housed at a church in Dearborn Heights.
As first reported by the “More Than Just Luck” podcast, hosted by Detroit businessman Greg Wier, Kerr had her child’s $600,000 wrongful-death settlement stolen by lawyer Greg Rohl, who was disbarred effective Oct. 1, 2026.

Lee: Does he have to pay restitution?
Kerr: If he wants to be considered to be an attorney again, he has to pay. (Rohl owes $659,821.44).
Lee: Do you think he should be allowed to be an attorney again?
Kerr: I don’t understand why he was an attorney in the first place.
Lee: Do you feel like he took advantage of you and your family at one of the lowest moments of your life?
Kerr: Yeah. I feel a lot of people have.
Lee: Is your fear that he’s done this with other people?
Kerr: Possibly.
Should Pohl face criminal charges?
Lee: Do you think he should face criminal charges?
Kerr: Absolutely, and everyone involved.
Lee: What would you say to him today?
Kerr: Kick rocks. That’s probably the only legal thing I can say.
Lee: What would you say to people watching this tonight?
Kerr: My story could happen to anyone at any time. Many of our families have been fighting by ourselves. We see all these people at our kids’ funerals, but don’t show up at the Capitol to actually make these changes. Our representatives need to see that.
